Did you know?

• Since 1st October 2008 all commercial buildings with a usable floor area over 50 sq m (538 sq ft) must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in place BEFORE the building can be let or sold.
• Display Energy Certificates (DECs) are required (since 1st October 2008) for buildings with a total useful floor area over 1,000 sq m that are occupied in whole or part by public authorities and by institutions providing public services to a large number of persons and therefore frequently visited by those persons.
• Air Conditioning Assessments are required (since 4th January 2009) for all commercial premises where you have operational control of air conditioning systems with a cumulative effective output of greater than 250kW (reduces to 12kW by 4th January 2011).
